Description
What is Fingertip for?
The List Menu
The List dialog
The Options dialog
Fingertip is a handy utility which helps you access the
most valuable resources quickly. With Fingertip, you can
organize shortcuts to applications, folders, and documents.
Moreover, Internet resources such as web pages and e-mail
addresses also can be used as targets for making a shortcut.
Once started, Fingertip resides in the System Tray area. All your shortcuts are placed in the menu which can be displayed by clicking the application icon.
Which Benefits Does Fingertip Provide?
It is necessary to note that Fingertip is not designed to cope with all your needs. You'd rather use not only Fingertip, but also other tools and utilities to organize your shortcuts. However, you may find useful to put some of them into one place. For example, you can create a little bookmark menu, or collect shortcuts to all your work folders in a single storage.
The main benefit of Fingertip is its light weight. You don't need to edit the Start menu, or create Windows shortcuts. Instead, you just make a few clicks when you need a new one. Moreover, you don't have to clean up folders, you may just uninstall Fingertip.
What's New in This Version?
The main difference between Version 1.0 beta 1 and current Version 1.0 beta 2 is the Icon sets feature. It allows you not only to add standard icons to the List Menu items, but even create your own.
Also, some changes have been made and bugs fixed.
